The Tor network is a group of volunteer-operated servers that allows people to improve their privacy and security on the Internet. Ongoing trends in law, policy, and technology threaten anonymity as never before.

The only concern I have is the crime commited through the Tor network. But at the same moment I see the corruption in governments and authorities as the biggest crime. I fear the corruption and the hypocrisy more than the crime in Tor.

I trust in education and technology much more than control and censorship.

And the following sources convinced me to:

Cryptopolitik and the Darknet

ProtonMail against Internet Censorship
Marta Peirano at TEDxMadrid
Dark web doesn’t exist. And folks use network for privacy, not crime
